Beginning Drawing Weekend homework Due: November 5th

Another opportunity for you to practice your line quality in you sketchbook:
Drawing of a flower or plant in line Include stems, leaves, etc. Drawing should fill page. Read exercise 11 in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Workbook. You will need your plastic picture plane ONLY Drawings that show the set up and use of the plastic picture plane will receive full credit. Due November 5th.

Art 400

Bring in what you did over the weekend on your art projects. I want to see two hours of work on these by next class which is on Tuesday.

Homework Draw 300

Work on an area of your portrait that you feel comfortable in your technique. Plan on spending 1 and 1/2 hours on the piece over the weekend. Make sure you pick up your drawing; cover it with the correct paper to protect it and put it on a board.

Intermediate drawing: Homework for the weekend

1. Read and underline packet on eyes! I will check your packet and your sketchbook for grade. So, don't forget ot read and underline packet on eyes. It's about four or five pages. Make notations in margins and then draw your eyes.

I will be looking for accuracy and how you translated the reading into your drawing. Do your eyes in particular drawing medium that you will be working on for your final portrait. Due Tuesday October 16th.

Advanced Drawing: Homeproject

Layout drawing completed : Composition set on final paper! You will need a piece of paper to take home with you on Friday! Check in date:( bring homeproject to class):

Weekend homework beginning A and C block

Work on your drawing: 50% finished by the end of the weekend by October 15th. Final Drawing due: October 24th for critique

Advanced drawing

In your sketchbook, revise your final design Revised designs should show value pattern of light, dark, midtones, or be in color and show background possibilites if necessary.
Due: Tuesday October 9th

In class: work on gridding pictures on tracing paper.

Homework: Finish gridding your picture on tracing paper.
