G block: Last semester sketchbook assignments

3 free draws! Graded on effort, creativity and observation.

Each drawing should show 1/2 an hour of effort minimum.

Only One can be a collage

Here are some prompts:

Draw an orange with the peel unraveling ( good practice for overlap) in line only

Draw a flower with values

Self portrait in the mirror

Draw your favorite childhood toy

Draw your favorite pair of shoes

Draw a corner of your room including the objects in that corner

Sketches E block Nov. 30th or Dec. 2nd

3 sketches due: extension December 2nd.

E block Art homework: REVISED! Due Nov. 5th

In keeping with Halloween and Day of the dead:

Draw one fear that you have:

you can do these two drawings in any media you wish

you can do both drawings facing each other in your sketchbook

or

you can do an "add on drawings: where you find an image out of a magazine and add on around it.

G block: 200 Level Experimental doodle/ sketch

Option 1
1 experimental doodle fill the page!

Use three different colored pens ( ballpoint, felt tip, highlighter) color pencils.

Option 2: Drawing ontop of book page.

Due: Thursday 10/14

E block 400 Level; 2 experimental sketches

Subject matter your choice.

3/4 way finished by Friday 10/15

C block: Mirror Face drawing and experimental sketches

Finish mirror face drawing in sketchbook; and do 1 experimental drawing

( it doesn't have to be a face!)

LK, NB, OG,CB, AK: do two experiemental drawings

left sketch: is part collage, drawing

right sketch is done on a page of a book.

400 level E block

E block sketchwork

Develop a Final idea for your interior/exterior ( include smaller preliminary sketches, source material, inspiration artist) what mediums and size... Due Friday for final presentation.

Weekend: Spend 1/2 an hour on each sketch.
Develop 3 experimental pages using different mediums to create an image.

Sketcbhooks due: Thursday October 13th ( quarter 1 check in)
