Oct. 23rd: sketch out concepts and media choices

Oct. 27th revise sketches/concepts and have source images for inspiration

Oct. 29th: Start layout of project and final revisions if necessary

Nov. 2/4th gridding and layout

Nov. 9th/11th/13th: Project started

Project 1/2 finished by Nov. 30th

Due date: Dec. 11th.

G block Intermediate Drawing

Due TUESDAY Nov. 10TH beginning of class

your picture ready to grid. Email me BEFORE Saturday if you want me to print out your picture. If not, it's up to you to bring in a suitable photograph by the BEGINNING of class on Tuesday. If you aren't sure email me your ideas.

Advanced Drawing

1/2 way done on project by:

Beginning drawing: line drawing of flowers

This should be a realistic drawing. You should draw from observation and use the entire page in your sketchbook for your composition. You are being evaluated on your line quality... the weight of your line should vary and not be the same thickness around your object.

D and G blocks intermediate

Do a drawing of your hand holding an object. It should be a line drawing.

10: drawing shows excellent observation and careful consideration of form the drawing shows excellent care and craft..

5: Drawing is complete and with more sensitivity to line character the drawing would be outstanding

2: the drawing is complete, but looks rushed and the line quality is boring.
