Beginning drawing B block: Back pack drawing

Do a drawing of your backpack in pen or pencil. Emphasize overlapping shapes, detail and some shading. In your drawing emphasize line quality, focus on an object either spilling out of your back pack or placed infront ( as seen in this example). Be creative with angle, and your choice of still life selection ( you could place your waterbottle, ipod, favorite shoe, sports item, your hand holding your backpack.

Your drawing should fill the page and use the space in an interesting way... you can also draw the drawing across two pages.

You should plan on spending 1 hour on this drawing

Your drawing can be precise and clean or gestural and expressive... it should look observed and not "symbolic"

Due: Tuesday beginning of class.
